The Sadducees were logical people who did not believe in the resurrection, in angels or in anything supernatural so they came to Jesus trying to discredit the doctrine of resurrection. The resurrection can only be understood by the revelation of the Holy Spirit and not by logic. To understand the resurrection, you must let the Holy Spirit open up your heart to this truth.
