Bible Promises on Wisdom

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. — James 1:5

Many people shall come and say, "Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, and we shall walk in His paths." For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. — Isaiah 2:3

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye. — Psalms 32:8

For God gives wisdom and knowledge and joy to a man who is good in His sight; but to the sinner He gives the work of gathering and collecting, that he may give to him who is good before God. This also is vanity and grasping for the wind. — Ecclesiastes 2:26

I will bless the LORD who has given me counsel; my heart also instructs me in the night seasons. — Psalms 16:7

Then you will understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God. For the LORD gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding; He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk uprightly. — Proverbs 2:5-7

Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts, and in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom. — Psalms 51:6

And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life. — 1 John 5:20

For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. — 2 Corinthians 4:6

Evil men do not understand justice, but those who seek the LORD understand all. — Proverbs 28:5

And to man He said, “Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to depart from evil is understanding.” — Job 28:28

And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding. — Daniel 2:21

For I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or resist. — Luke 21:15

My son, let them not depart from your eyes—Keep sound wisdom and discretion; so they will be life to your soul and grace to your neck. Then you will walk safely in your way, and your foot will not stumble. When you lie down, you will not be afraid; Yes, you will lie down and your sleep will be sweet. — Proverbs 3:21-24
